Hi! I’m Azuree, the photographer squinting behind a vintage sx-70 camera. I’ve been a freelance photographer for over a decade and love creating images. I’ve been shooting Polaroid personally for about 20 years now and have decided to incorporate it into my creative professional practice - that’s where Neon Palms Studio comes in!
When not shooting for work, I love to travel with my husband and professional collaborator - Trevor, going on walks with our cute doggo - Pigeon, sipping on Coca - Cola’s, learning how to cook, going to shows and watercolor painting my favorite album covers!

Our (very) Short Film!
Trevor and Azuree wrote, directed, prop styled, filmed and starred in a short film that they entered into a film festival and won in their category! How To Art: Instant Film was shot entirely on an iPhone 12 and explores the different ways to experiment with instant film! If you have three minutes, give it a watch!
Why Polaroid?
I love the ethereal quality of the film, the fact that you (usually) only get one chance at the shot, the idea of putting a lot of thought and expertise into one single frame is really exciting to me! Since we live in an age of digital abundance, it’s so special to have a cute little tangible piece of real film in your hands! That makes my heart skip a beat!
